ペアの指輪を入れる、小さな箱です。スベスベした木の質感やパチンと閉まる感触など細かなところまで大事につくられています。永く使うほどに愛着のわく指輪ケースです。
材料は家具などによく使用されるイタヤカエデ（メイプル）、サクラ、ウォールナットです。それぞれ堅く密度があり、美しい木目が特徴です。中には磁石が仕込まれているため、閉じる際に「パチン」と心地よく閉じるようになっています。
内装は毛足の長い「巻毛（イタヤは白茶）」と、落ち着きのある「縞々（サクラは栗茶、ウォールナットは渋緑）」の2タイプがあります。どちらも旭川家具で使われた、上質で個性のある布地を使用しています。
夫婦でひとつひとつ丁寧につくっています。金属の蝶番を使わず、細かなパーツまで木にこだわった精巧なつくりです。
This is a small box for holding a pair of rings. Every detail, from the smooth texture of the wood to the satisfying click when it closes, has been carefully considered. It's a ring case that will grow on you the longer you use it.
The materials used are Japanese maple, Japanese cherry, and walnut, all commonly used in furniture. Each is hard, dense, and features beautiful grain. A magnet is embedded inside, ensuring a satisfying "click" when closing.
The interior comes in two types: a long-pile "curly" fabric and a more subdued "striped" fabric. Both use high-quality, distinctive fabrics previously used in Asahikawa furniture.
Each box is meticulously handcrafted by a husband and wife team. No metal hinges are used; even the smallest parts are crafted from wood, resulting in an exquisitely crafted piece.
