木の端材を活用した木製ネクタイピンです。
丹野製作所の製品は小物が多いため家具工場や製材工場から譲ってもらった短い材料から作ることもありますが、材料をより無駄なく使い切るため、名刺ケースなどを使って出た端材でこの小さなネクタイピンを作り始めました。
素材の風合いを活かすためシンプルな形状にしていますが、手に持ったときの質感にこだわって角を斜めにカットして1つずつ手作業で研磨しています。
裏面にくぼみを開けて金具を入れることで接着がはずれにくく、見た目もすっきりさせています。

A recess is made on the back to insert the metal fitting, which prevents the adhesive from coming undone and gives it a clean, neat appearance.
